You're in the right place.
You've built something meaningful. Now you're ready for a digital presence that reflects the depth of your work, something that feels like an extension of who you are, crafted with the same care you bring to your own craft.
We're here for that.
How We Work
Every project begins with understanding, your vision, your clients, the moments that matter most in their journey with you. We bring fifteen years of product experience from the Adobe Express team, Intuit, and startups where we built software used by millions. A deep appreciation for craft. And a clear philosophy: your digital presence should feel like an extension of who you are.
This foundation shapes everything we build, from the architecture of information to the subtlest interaction. The result is a digital presence that welcomes your ideal clients and guides them naturally toward working with you.
Built to Last
We design with longevity in mind. Every commission is built to serve your business beautifully for years, timeless rather than trendy, refined rather than flashy. The kind of considered craft that only gets better with time.
Who We Work With
We love collaborating with people who care deeply about their work, wellness practitioners, boutique hospitality, design studios, artisan brands, professional services. Businesses where craft and intention are woven into everything.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear what you're building.
The Atelier
Humeur is a two-person studio. Justin leads design and development; Julie ensures every client experience feels as considered as the work itself.
We founded Humeur because the businesses that care most about their craft deserve digital experiences built with that same care.

Justin Rings
Brand Strategist & Technical Architect
After fifteen years building digital products at companies like Intuit, Indeed, and Adobe, shipping features used by millions, I found myself drawn to a question: Why do some experiences feel effortless while others exhaust us?
The answer led me to pursue a master's in psychology. What I discovered reshaped how I think about digital design entirely.
The most compelling brands don't persuade. They align. They remove friction rather than add features. They feel inevitable rather than aspirational. That shift in thinking, from persuasion to alignment, became the foundation of Humeur.
I founded Humeur because I believe discerning businesses deserve infrastructure crafted with the same care they bring to their own work. Technology built for longevity, not trends. Behavioral design that converts through clarity, not manipulation.
The difference between shipping features and architecting experiences lies in intention. Every line of code I write is in service of feeling, not just function.
What this means for your brand:
- Systems engineered with museum-quality attention: clean, purposeful, reliable
- Architecture designed for 5-10 year lifespans
- Technology that serves your audience's psychology

Julie Lynn
Creative Director & Visual Storyteller
Twenty years of visual storytelling, portraits, products, the moments between moments, has taught me that beauty always serves purpose. Every image, every composition, every detail shapes perception before a single word is read.
I don't take photos. I translate craft into visual language.
When we document your work, we're solving a problem: How do we make someone feel the quality of what you do through a screen? That requires understanding light, composition, and narrative, but more importantly, understanding what makes your work distinct.
At Humeur, I lead all creative direction and visual documentation. I ensure every touchpoint, site design, photography, brand collateral, exists in quiet harmony. Not because consistency is elegant (though it is), but because it's the difference between brands people scroll past and brands people remember.
What this means for your brand:
- Design that appreciates with time, never feels dated or trendy
- Photography that captures your craft with the care you invest in creating it
- Visual systems where every element reinforces the same emotional truth
